Step 1. Determine your goal(s).
First, it is important to determine for yourself your goal(s) when using CBD. For example, if you suffer from chronic pains, it probably works better if you spread out your daily dose of CBD over a somewhat larger number of intake times. That way you will have a constant amount of CBD in your blood, which will lead to fewer symptoms. This is in contrast to when you use CBD primarily to sleep better. In that case you can choose to take less CBD during the day and more in the evening. And do you want to use CBD to wake up better and be more vital at work? Then an extra moment of intake at the beginning of the day will be a good idea.
Step 2. Consider your daily schedule and habits
The second step in developing a good CBD routine is to integrate taking CBD into your daily routine. For optimal effect, it is very important that you take the CBD daily at more or less the same times, so it is smart to choose moments for this when you do not easily forget. In our opinion, this works best by linking taking it to habits you already have. That way it also hardly takes any extra time and effort and becomes an automatic part of your routine.
For example, do you want to take CBD in the morning? Then pair taking it with a morning habit, such as eating breakfast. By taking CBD each time after breakfast, it becomes a part of breakfast and you won’t forget it as easily. Similarly, you can take it in the afternoon with lunch and in the evening with dinner. Are you taking CBD to sleep better? Then take the CBD one to two hours before you go to bed and pair it with watching TV or another evening habit, for example.
Step 3. Choose your ideal CBD product
Next, it is good to think about the ideal product type for your lifestyle and personal preferences. In addition to CBD oil, you can choose from a wide range of products that contain CBD. These include:
- CBD capsules
- CBD crystals
- Edibles and sweets
- Patches with CBD
In addition, most products are also available in different strengths. If you want to achieve as gradual an intake of CBD as possible. Then taking a CBD oil with a relatively low dosage four times a day is a good option. Patches are also ideal here, as they release the CBD gradually. Would you like to take in a larger amount of CBD in the morning or evening? Then CBD oils or capsules with a slightly higher dose are smart. And do you want to be able to take CBD easily in between meals and are not a fan of oils and pills? Then edibles are great, because you can easily take them in between meals.
Step 4. Start taking CBD and see how it goes
After determining your goals, thinking about your daily routines and choosing your ideal CBD product, you are all set to start taking CBD. In any case, start with a small amount of CBD: we recommend 4 to 6 mg of CBD per ingestion 2 to 4 times a day. Do this for a week and then slowly increase the dose depending on your goals and your body’s response. Keep this up for at least two to three weeks and see how it goes.
Step 5. Evaluate and adjust your routine if necessary
After two to three weeks, you will know exactly how your body is responding to CBD and how it is doing implementing CBD into your daily routine. You will notice that your symptoms are reduced and that you feel more vital and fit. Furthermore, you may have noticed that taking CBD comes easily to you or that you actually have trouble remembering certain intake times.
Now the key is to properly evaluate all these points and fine-tune your routine. For example, do you notice that you sometimes forget a dose? Then see if another time to take it might not be more convenient. And do you notice that your symptoms have not completely disappeared? Then try taking more at each time or increasing the number of times you take it. Is everything going very well and do you feel better than ever? Then continue on this path. By making CBD part of your lifestyle as much as possible, you will notice that taking CBD will eventually become a habit. That way, you won’t have to think about it anymore and taking it will come naturally.
