What is water-soluble CBD?
Water-soluble CBD is CBD that dissolves in water. Like
CBD oil it contains full spectrum CBD, but through an extra processing step and an emulsifier it dissolves in liquid. That lets you mix it with water, coffee, tea, juice or a smoothie, without the oily taste.
Why water-soluble CBD?
Water-soluble CBD has two practical advantages. You mix it easily into a drink, so you do not taste the oil. And because the body absorbs water-soluble compounds more easily than oil, you generally need less of it for the same amount of CBD. One drop contains about 2 mg of CBD.
How do you use it?
The water-soluble CBD comes in a pipette bottle. Put the amount you want into a glass with your favourite drink; it dissolves straight away. Many people have a glass with about 10 mg of CBD (5 drops) two to three times a day. Just starting? Then begin with a few drops a day and build up calmly to an amount that suits you.
Frequently asked questions about water-soluble CBD
What does water-soluble CBD do?
We may not make any statements about that. No health claims have been approved for CBD in the European Union. Water-soluble is a different form, not a different promise. We tell you what is in it and how you use it.
Why would you choose water-soluble CBD?
For two practical reasons. You mix it into a drink, so you do not taste the oil. And because it dissolves in water your body absorbs it more easily than oil, which means you generally need less of it for the same amount of CBD.
How much CBD is in a drop?
About 2 mg. Many people have a glass with around 10 mg of CBD two to three times a day, which is 5 drops. Just starting? Then begin with a few drops a day and build up calmly.
What can you put it in?
Water, coffee, tea, juice or a smoothie: it dissolves straight away. Do not put it in something that is boiling, because CBD evaporates above 170 °C.
Is it the same as CBD oil?
The CBD is the same, the form is not. With
oil you take it under your tongue and you taste it; with water-soluble you mix it into a drink. Looking for the purest form to work with yourself? Then have a look at
crystals.
Who is better off not using it?
If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, do not use it. If you take medication, consult your doctor or pharmacist first. Also read
