10% CBD oil: a medium strength

With 10% cannabidiol this CBD oil is of medium strength. You need fewer drops of it than of a mild 5% oil, but you can still dose more precisely than with a concentrated 25% oil. That makes 10% a versatile choice for both beginners and experienced users. CBD is a non-psychoactive cannabinoid from the hemp plant.

Full spectrum or broad spectrum 10%?

All our 10% oils are made with cold CO2 extraction. You choose between full spectrum (with all the natural compounds, including a fraction of THC below 0.05%) and broad spectrum (the same compounds, but without THC). With both, the natural compounds from the plant are together in the oil.

How do you dose 10% CBD oil?

Put drops of the oil under your tongue with the pipette and let it sit for a minute before you swallow. You can measure the drops onto a spoon first if you prefer. With a 10% oil you can start with about 4 to 5 drops a day. Everyone is different, so build up calmly until you find the dose that suits you.

Frequently asked questions about CBD oil 10%

Is CBD oil 10% strong?

A percentage on its own says nothing. What matters is how much CBD is in a drop, and at 10% that is around 4 mg. For comparison: a 5% oil gives about 2 mg per drop and a 25% oil around 10 mg. A 10 ml bottle of 10% contains 1000 mg of CBD. So the percentage mainly determines how many drops you need, not whether something is “strong”.

How many drops of 10% oil a day?

Start with about four to five drops a day, spread over two or three moments. That comes down to around 16 to 20 mg of CBD. A rule of thumb for your starting point is about 1 mg of CBD per 5 kg of body weight a day. After that, build up calmly until you find the amount that suits you. More about this in how strong your CBD oil should be.

What is the best time to take CBD?

There is no prescribed moment. Most people spread their daily total over two or three fixed moments. Fixed moments help you notice what a dose does for you.

What does CBD oil 10% do for you?

We may not make any statements about that. No health claims have been approved for CBD in the European Union. If you come across a webshop that lists exactly what CBD would reduce, that webshop is overstepping the mark. We tell you what is in it, how it is made and how you dose it. The rest is up to you.

Is 10% suitable if you are just starting?

It works perfectly well. At 4 mg per drop you still dose reasonably precisely. If you want to build up in very small steps, 5% is more precise. If you find yourself using more and more drops, 25% is more practical and often better value per milligram.

Who is better off not using CBD oil?

If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, do not use it. If you take medication, consult your doctor or pharmacist first: CBD can influence how your body breaks down certain medicines. Also read CBD and medicines.

A different strength after all?

If you want to dose more precisely, have a look at 5%. If you find yourself using more and more drops, 25% is more practical. Unsure between full and broad spectrum? Our guide walks you through it. Is your question not here? Ask it through customer service.
