What is this CBD oil good for?

This is the most asked question about CBD, and precisely the question we may not answer. No health claims have been approved for CBD in the European Union. What we can tell you is what is in it, how you dose it and where it comes from. What you want from it is up to you.

How many drops do you take a day?

That differs from person to person. With this 10% oil every drop delivers roughly 4 mg, and the 10 ml bottle holds about 250 drops. Start with a few drops a day, spread across the day, and build up calmly until you find what suits you. Stick to the instructions on the packaging.

How long before you notice anything?

Because you hold the drops under your tongue for 60 to 90 seconds, they are absorbed through the mucous membrane of the mouth and not only through the digestive tract. That is faster than a capsule, for instance. How you experience it and over what period is personal, and we make no statement about that.

What does broad spectrum mean?

Broad spectrum keeps the broad plant profile (CBD plus cannabinoids such as CBG, CBC and CBN), but the THC has been fully removed. Handy for anyone who wants no THC, because of work with drug testing or sport for instance. If you would rather have the complete profile including a trace of THC, the full spectrum variant makes more sense.

What should you look out for?

Have you been using a THC-free oil for a while and keep needing more drops? Then this 10% broad spectrum works more comfortably. At about 4 mg CBD per drop you need less of it, while you are still without THC. If you are just starting, better choose a lighter broad spectrum and build up.

What is in it?

A broad spectrum oil contains not only CBD but also CBG, CBC, CBN, terpenes and flavonoids. Unlike full spectrum, the THC has been filtered out after extraction. That keeps the broad profile of the plant, but without THC, so 0% and no residues. Not psychoactive.

Where it comes from

The hemp comes from the EU and is grown without pesticides, and the cannabinoids are extracted with cold CO2 extraction without chemical solvents. The THC is then removed in a separate step. Every batch is independently tested for cannabinoid profile, the absence of THC, heavy metals, pesticides, microbiology and solvent residues. You can request the report through our customer service.

How do you use it?

Shake the bottle briefly, drop under your tongue and let it sit for 60 to 90 seconds before swallowing. Start with 2 to 3 drops a day and see how that suits you for a few days before adjusting. With a meal containing some fat, absorption is a little easier.
