What is this CBD oil good for?

This is the most asked question about CBD, and precisely the question we may not answer. No health claims have been approved for CBD in the European Union. What we can tell you is what is in it, how you dose it and where it comes from. What you want from it is up to you.

How many drops do you take a day?

That differs from person to person. With this 5% oil every drop delivers roughly 2 mg, and the 30 ml bottle holds about 750 drops. Start with a few drops a day, spread across the day, and build up calmly until you find what suits you. Stick to the instructions on the packaging.

How long before you notice anything?

Because you hold the drops under your tongue for 60 to 90 seconds, they are absorbed through the mucous membrane of the mouth and not only through the digestive tract. That is faster than a capsule, for instance. How you experience it and over what period is personal, and we make no statement about that.

What does broad spectrum mean?

Broad spectrum keeps the broad plant profile (CBD plus cannabinoids such as CBG, CBC and CBN), but the THC has been fully removed. Handy for anyone who wants no THC, because of work with drug testing or sport for instance. If you would rather have the complete profile including a trace of THC, the full spectrum variant makes more sense.

What should you look out for?

CBD can influence how your body breaks down certain medicines. If you take medication, consult your doctor before you start. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, do not use it. Keep the bottle out of reach of children.

Is the THC-free 5% your strength and would you like a supply that lasts? Then take this one. With 1500 mg in a 30 ml bottle you have a good stock, and at about 2 mg CBD per drop you dose precisely. Broad spectrum means: the broad plant profile, but without THC. If you are coming from a lighter oil and keep needing more, have a look at the 10%.

What is in it?

With broad spectrum, all the natural compounds from the plant are in the oil except THC: so alongside CBD also CBG, CBC, CBN, terpenes and flavonoids. After extraction the THC is filtered out, leaving 0%. It will not get you high, and there are no THC residues in it.

Where it comes from

EU hemp without pesticides, extracted with cold CO2 extraction without chemical solvents, followed by the THC filtration as a separate step. Every batch goes to an independent lab that checks the cannabinoid profile, the absence of THC, heavy metals, pesticides, microbiology and solvent residues.
