What is this CBD oil good for?

This is the most asked question about CBD, and precisely the question we may not answer. No health claims have been approved for CBD in the European Union. What we can tell you is what is in it, how you dose it and where it comes from. What you want from it is up to you.

How many drops do you take a day?

That differs from person to person. With this 10% oil every drop delivers roughly 4 mg, and the 10 ml bottle holds about 250 drops. Start with a few drops a day, spread across the day, and build up calmly until you find what suits you. Stick to the instructions on the packaging.

How long before you notice anything?

Because you hold the drops under your tongue for 60 to 90 seconds, they are absorbed through the mucous membrane of the mouth and not only through the digestive tract. That is faster than a capsule, for instance. How you experience it and over what period is personal, and we make no statement about that.

What does full spectrum mean?

This oil is full spectrum: the complete plant profile is preserved, including a trace of THC below 0.05%. If you want no THC at all, a broad spectrum oil makes more sense, which is made THC-free after extraction. Otherwise they are comparable.

What should you look out for?

CBD can influence how your body breaks down certain medicines. If you take medication, consult your doctor before you start. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, do not use it. Keep the bottle out of reach of children.

For many people CBD is part of a deliberate routine: a fixed moment in the day that is just for you. In that, this 10% is the middle of the range in strength. Have you been at it a while and notice you need more and more drops of a lighter oil? Then 10% works more comfortably. At about 4 mg per drop you need less of it and a bottle lasts longer. If you are just starting, better choose a 5% and build up calmly.

What is in it?

This is a full spectrum oil. Alongside CBD it also contains the other natural compounds from the hemp plant: CBG, CBC, CBN, terpenes and flavonoids. The idea behind it is called the entourage effect, the assumption that those compounds complement each other when you take them together. We present it as the idea it is, not as a promise. The THC content stays below 0.05%, so it will not get you high.

Where it comes from

The hemp grows in the EU, without pesticides. The cannabinoids are extracted with cold CO2 extraction, a method without chemical solvents. How do you use it?

Shake the bottle briefly. Drop the amount under your tongue and let it sit there for 60 to 90 seconds before swallowing. Start with 2 to 3 drops a day and see how that suits you for a few days before adjusting. If you take it with a meal containing some fat, your body absorbs it more easily. Stick to the recommended daily amount.
