What is this CBD oil good for?

This is the most asked question about CBD, and precisely the question we may not answer. No health claims have been approved for CBD in the European Union. What we can tell you is what is in it, how you dose it and where it comes from. What you want from it is up to you.

How many drops do you take a day?

That differs from person to person. With this 5% oil every drop delivers roughly 2 mg, and the 10 ml bottle holds about 250 drops. Start with a few drops a day, spread across the day, and build up calmly until you find what suits you. Stick to the instructions on the packaging.

How long before you notice anything?

Because you hold the drops under your tongue for 60 to 90 seconds, they are absorbed through the mucous membrane of the mouth and not only through the digestive tract. That is faster than a capsule, for instance. How you experience it and over what period is personal, and we make no statement about that.

What does full spectrum mean?

This oil is full spectrum: the complete plant profile is preserved, including a trace of THC below 0.05%. If you want no THC at all, a broad spectrum oil makes more sense, which is made THC-free after extraction. Otherwise they are comparable.

What should you look out for?

CBD can influence how your body breaks down certain medicines. If you take medication, consult your doctor before you start. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, do not use it. Keep the bottle out of reach of children.

The 5% is the oil most people end up with. At about 2 mg CBD per drop you still dose precisely, and at the same time you do not need as much of it as with the lightest variant. A nice middle ground for giving CBD a fixed place in your day. If you are starting completely fresh, you can begin with a lighter oil; if you find yourself using many drops, 10% is more practical.

What is in it?

A full spectrum oil contains not only CBD but also CBG, CBC, CBN, terpenes and flavonoids: the complete profile of the plant. The assumption that those compounds work together is called the entourage effect. We call it what it is, an idea, not a promise. With a THC content below 0.05% it will not get you high.

Where it comes from

The hemp grows in the EU, without pesticides, and the cannabinoids are extracted with cold CO2 extraction. No chemical solvents, then. An independent lab report is available for every batch, checking the cannabinoid profile, heavy metals, pesticides, microbiology and solvent residues. Request it through our customer service.

How do you use it?

Shake the bottle, drop under your tongue and let it sit for 60 to 90 seconds before swallowing. A common starting point is 2 to 3 drops a day; see how that suits you for a few days before adjusting. If you take it with a meal containing some fat, absorption is a little easier.
