About Wedihemp

Wedihemp is an Austrian producer of 100% organic CBD. The company was founded in 2010 by Andrea Bamacher and Elke Moritz, with sustainability and quality as its main core values. The hemp from which the CBD is extracted is grown by local farmers around Lake Neusiedl in Austria. After the harvest all parts of the hemp plant are used, so nothing goes to waste. The leaves and flowers are turned into CBD products or hemp tea using supercritical CO2 extraction, while the seeds are processed into foods.

Wedihemp is active in the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Denmark, Norway, France, Spain, Portugal, Switzerland, Great Britain and all other countries of the European Union, among others.

Medihemp is now Wedihemp

Wedihemp is, incidentally, the new name of the old brand Medihemp. In connection with changing European legislation, the company adjusted its brand name in 2022. Besides the brand name, the logos on the packaging were adjusted too. Nothing else about the products has changed.

What Wedihemp stands for

Wedihemp’s hemp grows on soil that is entirely free of herbicides, pesticides and other chemicals. During cultivation only one thing is added: water. This guarantees you a 100% natural product as a user. To safeguard quality further, the products are made according to the guidelines of the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) and the Austrian Agency for Health and Food Safety (AGES). All the brand’s CBD products also hold every necessary certificate, such as that of Austria Bio Garantie GmbH. Wedihemp regularly tests its own products for the presence of more than 200 different substances and has this done once more by an external laboratory.
