What does a CBD capsule do?

Which is better, CBD oil or capsules?

That depends on your preference. Oil you take under the tongue, it works faster and lets you dose nicely per drop. A capsule you swallow, it always gives exactly the same amount and has no taste, but it is absorbed more slowly through the gut. If you want convenience and a fixed dose, a capsule is pleasant. If you want to dose flexibly, oil makes more sense.

Every capsule contains 13.5 mg of CBD. A usual approach is one or two capsules a day, spread over the day, and to see from there what suits you. Stick to the instructions on the packaging as a guideline. If you want a lower dose, there is also a 6.75 mg capsule.

What is in it?

Every plant-based capsule contains 13.5 mg full spectrum CBD in a hemp seed oil base. Full spectrum means that alongside CBD, other cannabinoids and plant compounds from the hemp are preserved, with a minimal amount of THC below 0.05%. A jar contains 60 capsules.

How do you use it?

Swallow one capsule with a glass of water, at whatever moment suits you. Because the capsule is absorbed through your stomach and intestines, it takes a little longer for the CBD to be released than with oil under the tongue, but it is spread over a longer period. The advantage is that the amount per capsule is always the same, so you do not have to count or measure anything. If you want a lower dose, there is also a 6.75 mg capsule.

Where it comes from

Wedihemp was formerly called Medihemp and comes from Austria. The brand grows its hemp on its own land, some 400 hectares beside a lake in Austria, together with local farmers who work organically. The soil is free from pesticides and herbicides and the plants are EU-certified. The CBD is extracted using cold CO₂ extraction, without chemical solvents. Every batch is independently tested for cannabinoid profile, THC content, heavy metals, pesticides and microbiology, and you can request the test reports from us.
