What is this hemp seed oil with CBD good for?

This is the most asked question about CBD, and precisely the question we may not answer. No health claims have been approved for CBD in the European Union. What we can tell you is what is in it, how you dose it and where it comes from. What you want from it is up to you.

How much CBD is in it?

A 250 ml bottle contains 250 mg of CBD, or roughly 1 mg per millilitre. A light amount per splash; it is meant as a culinary oil, not as a high-dose supplement under the tongue.

How do you store the oil?

Once opened, keep it in the fridge and use it up within a few weeks. Shake well before use, as the oil can separate.

What should you look out for?

CBD can influence how your body breaks down certain medicines. If you take medication, consult your doctor before you start. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, do not use it. Keep the bottle out of reach of children.

Q: Can I bake or fry with this oil?

No. This is a cold-pressed hemp seed oil with CBD added, meant to be used cold or lukewarm. Do not heat it strongly, because cold-pressed hemp oil cannot take high temperatures and loses its taste. Use it over a salad, in a dressing or over a finished dish.

Reviews

This is the only CBD in the range that belongs on the table, not in the medicine cabinet. Cold-pressed hemp seed oil with CBD added, meant for cooking. Think of a drizzle over your salad, into a dressing or over a finished dish. For anyone who does not want to take CBD separately but would rather work it into their food.

What is in it?

The base is cold-pressed hemp seed oil, an oil with a nutty taste that is naturally rich in unsaturated fatty acids. Full spectrum CBD has been added to it, so with the complete profile of the hemp plant and a trace of THC below the legal limit. A bottle contains 250 ml with 250 mg CBD in total. That comes to about 1 mg CBD per millilitre, or a light amount per drizzle.

How do you use it?

Use the oil cold or lukewarm, just like a good olive oil you finish with rather than fry with. A tablespoon through the salad, over roasted vegetables or into a dip. Do not heat it strongly, because cold-pressed hemp oil cannot take high temperatures and then loses its flavour. After opening, keep the bottle in the fridge and use it within a few weeks. Shake well before use.
