What is this CBD oil for cats good for?

How many drops do you give your cat?

With this 4% oil every drop delivers roughly 1.6 mg of CBD. The amount depends on the weight of your cat; stick to the instructions on the packaging and start low. You can give the drops on a treat, in the food or straight into the mouth.

What should you look out for?

If your cat is on medication or your animal is pregnant, ill or very young, consult the vet first. A supplement is no substitute for veterinary care. Store out of reach of children and animals.

Can I use this oil for both dogs and cats?

This is the stronger cat oil: 4%, about 1.6 mg CBD per drop, twice as much as the 2%. With cats we recommend starting with the 2% and only moving to this stronger variant once you know how your cat responds, preferably in consultation with your vet. Without THC, because cats are sensitive to it.

Why a separate oil for cats?

Like the 2%, this oil uses CBD isolate, more than 99% pure CBD, so 0% THC. Never simply give a cat an oil meant for humans, because those often do contain a fraction of THC. The carrier of hemp seed oil and salmon oil gives the flavour most cats accept.

How do you give it?

Put the drops on the food; most cats do not appreciate being dripped into the mouth. Because this oil is stronger, you need fewer drops than with the 2%. Keep the dose low, build up carefully and consult your vet if in doubt or if your cat is on medication.
