What is this ointment meant for?

It is a care balm, positioned within the Hemptouch line for irritated skin, for local external care. About a medical effect we make no statements: a care balm is not a treatment and not a substitute for medical care. If complaints persist, see a skin therapist or doctor.

What is the difference between an ointment and a cream?

A balm is thicker and richer than a cream and stays on the skin longer, which is handy for local use on specific spots. A cream is lighter and more suited to a larger skin surface, your whole face for instance.

How often a day can I use the ointment?

Usually one to three times a day, a small amount on the spot you want to care for. Not on open wounds, damaged skin or close to the eyes.

May I use this ointment on my face?

On facial skin is fine, but avoid the immediate area around the eyes. For lighter daily facial care the Hemptouch face creams are a better fit in terms of texture.

Is this ointment suitable for vegans?

The balm base may contain beeswax, and that is an animal product. To be sure, check the INCI list on the packaging if you want to use it as a vegan.

This balm from Hemptouch is positioned for irritated skin, with 50 mg CBD isolate in a richer balm base that stays on the skin longer than a cream. Intended for local, external use on spots that need a little extra attention.

What is a care balm with CBD?

A balm has a thicker, greasier consistency than a cream, which makes it stay on the skin longer before it is absorbed. That richer base makes a balm practical for local use on specific spots rather than a large area of skin. The CBD is an isolate with more than 99% purity, without THC or other cannabinoids. Alongside CBD it contains plant-based base ingredients that are typical of a balm.

Quality and composition

Hemptouch works with CBD isolate of high purity, extracted from hemp extract from which all other compounds, including THC, have been removed. The balm base is plant-based and contains no artificial fragrances or parabens. The full ingredient list is on the packaging.

How do you use it?

Apply a small amount of balm to the spot where you want to use it and massage in gently. You can apply the balm as often as you like, generally one to three times a day. For external use, do not ingest. Do not apply to open wounds, damaged skin or close to the eyes. With sensitive skin, test on a small area first. If skin complaints persist or worsen, consult a skin therapist or doctor. A care balm is not a substitute for medical care.

Ingredients

CBD isolate, a plant-based balm base (may contain plant oils and beeswax), without artificial fragrances or parabens. See the packaging for the full INCI list.
