What is this CBN oil good for?

The whole CBN market runs on the sleep promise, but no health claims have been approved for CBN in the European Union. If you come across a webshop telling you that CBN helps you sleep, it is overstepping the mark. What we can say: many people use CBN in the evening. What you want from it is up to you.

What is the difference between CBN and CBD?

Both are non-psychoactive cannabinoids. CBN forms partly through oxidation of THC over time, whereas CBD is present in the plant directly. This oil is concentrated on CBN, and because it is full spectrum it also contains CBD and the other compounds.

How many drops do you take a day?

That differs from person to person. With this 20% oil every drop delivers roughly 8 mg, and the 10 ml bottle holds about 250 drops. Start with a few drops a day, spread across the day, and build up calmly until you find what suits you. Stick to the instructions on the packaging.

When is CBN usually taken?

Many people take CBN in the evening hours, as part of their evening routine. There is no fixed moment that works best for everyone; what the effect is, we may not claim.

What should you look out for?

CBD can influence how your body breaks down certain medicines. If you take medication, consult your doctor before you start. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, do not use it. Keep the bottle out of reach of children.

This is our strongest CBN oil: 2000 mg in 10 ml, about 8 mg CBN per drop. For anyone who knows CBN well and does not want to count many drops. If you are new to CBN, start lower, at the 5% for instance, because at this strength one drop is already substantial.

What is CBN, and why does everyone say “sleep”?

CBN (cannabinol) is formed through oxidation: when THC is exposed to light and air over time, it turns into CBN. Almost every supplier links CBN to a night’s sleep, and you see that everywhere. We do not go along with it: there are no approved health claims for CBN and the research is still limited. What we can say: our oil is full spectrum (alongside CBN also CBD and other plant compounds), CBN is not psychoactive, and we hear back that many people take it as part of their evening routine. That is a usage pattern, not a promise.

Where it comes from

The hemp comes from the EU and is grown without pesticides. The cannabinoids are extracted using cold CO2 extraction, without chemical solvents. Every batch goes to an independent lab that checks the composition, the THC content (below 0.05%), heavy metals, pesticides, microbiology and solvent residues. You can request the report through our customer service.

How do you use it?

Shake the bottle briefly, drop under your tongue and let it sit for 60 to 90 seconds before swallowing. Start calmly with a few drops a day and build up to an amount that suits you. With a meal containing some fat, your body absorbs it more easily. Stick to the recommended daily amount.

Helpt mij om met minder pijn te slapen

Caroline Audoor 14 May 2024
