Would you like to start with CBD oil? Then it is useful to know a few things before you begin. In this article, four practical tips to get off to a good start.
Start with a small amount of CBD
An overdose of CBD is not a concern, but we still recommend starting with a small amount. Every body responds differently, and this way you can get used to it calmly. For the first few times we advise about 4 to 6 mg of CBD, two to three times a day. A lightly dosed CBD oil of 5 per cent is handy for that: with 2 or 3 drops you dose precisely.
Choose full spectrum or broad spectrum
There are two kinds of CBD: full spectrum and broad spectrum. The difference is that full spectrum contains a small amount of THC (below the legal limit), while broad spectrum contains no THC at all. May you or do you not want to take in THC? Then choose broad spectrum. Do you want the full palette of plant compounds? Then full spectrum is the obvious choice.
Choose good quality CBD
CBD has been popular in recent years and is on sale everywhere. When buying, look at more than the price. There are known products with barely any CBD in them, or oil with too much THC. So choose brands known for their quality, such as Wedihemp and Dutch Hemp. That way you can be sure your product is legal and that the content is right. Want to know more about quality? Bear in mind that CBD is not a miracle cure
CBD is a food supplement, an addition to a healthy lifestyle, and not a miracle cure. There are no EU-approved health claims for CBD, so we make no promises about it. Whether it suits you is a matter of trying it out. Some people notice something quickly, with others it takes longer, and others again notice little. Do you have persistent complaints? Discuss that with your GP.
