Shilafit

Shilafit is a Dutch brand from Amsterdam dedicated entirely to one product: pure Shilajit. The resin is harvested at high altitude in the Himalayas (Ladakh), where local producers have been collecting Shilajit in the traditional way for generations. What sets Shilafit apart is its emphasis on purity, safety and transparency: every batch is tested in an ISO 17025-certified laboratory for heavy metals, mycotoxins and microbiology, among other things. That way you know exactly what you are bringing into your home. Curious? Have a look at our Shilafit selection here.

Meet Shilafit

Shilafit is a Dutch brand from Amsterdam devoted entirely to one raw material: pure shilajit from the Himalayas. Not a broad range with all sorts of things alongside, but attention for that one product and where it comes from. The resin is harvested at high altitude in Ladakh, where it has been gathered in the traditional way for generations.

Purity and safety

With a natural product that comes straight out of the rock, the origin is half the story and the testing is the other half. Shilajit can naturally contain heavy metals, so that has to be checked. Every batch from Shilafit is tested in an ISO 17025-certified laboratory for heavy metals, mycotoxins and microbiology, among other things. That is exactly the kind of testing you want to see with shilajit, and not something every supplier is transparent about.

What we carry from Shilafit

Our Shilafit range consists of two groups:
  • Pure shilajit in three forms: resin (the traditional form, with a dosing spoon), capsules (pre-dosed and tasteless) and honey sachets (with fennel honey, softer in taste). All three are together on our shilajit category page.
  • Two herbal teas: Morning Strength for the morning and Deep Rest for the evening. Note: these teas contain no shilajit themselves. They are meant to be drunk on their own, or to add the resin to.
